For those of you considering placing an order with Jason Fox and Lucas Boehm over at Kia of Muncie, I would highly encourage you to do it. It's well-documented on here that they are top-notch in terms of service, but I will tell you that they actually exceeded my already high expectations. Great communication throughout and they even sent me multiple videos of my car when it arrived, was put on the truck for transport, etc. And, of course, the Costco pricing is hard to beat. I placed my order on October 21 of last year...and probably would've gotten my car sooner had it not been for COVID, etc. Ended up going for Nightfall and man, am I glad that I did. If you are considering it, don't second guess it. Truly beautiful - a very high end look.

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. So what did you originally order? The Nightfall is a allocation. You been waiting since October last year just sounds like something went wrong here.
So, I originally ordered a Dark Moss SX-P and I would've been happy with that. However, Lucas reached out and said that they had been allocated an SX (no P) in Nightfall in Dark Moss with Butterscotch. It was totally my choice to pick it or wait for my original order. I chose to go for it because I think the Nightfall looks really sharp, it was actually cheaper than my original order, and I was able to get it in July v. waiting till perhaps September or October (my 2007 Honda Pilot has 230k miles on it, so I was ready). I think the Prestige package is great and I would've enjoyed the extra features, but in the scheme of things I was 100% fine without them. My kids can rough it without the heated/AC 2nd row captains chairs, right?!? But, honestly, I actually like the Nightfall better - didn't know when I took the order with just the one picture of it on the flyer back in June, but I was 100% sold when the real pics started coming in. It's stunning.

Did your order get put into KFOS? If so they would have given you order number and ETA. If so what was the last ETA given to you before you decided to switch? Just curious...
It did not - I was their "oldest order not yet filled" as of March 23rd (when all hell broke loose with COVID and right before the switch to 2021's). I was the "8th oldest order" in February if that's helpful. They followed all the rules - just a long line of people who want pricing below MSRP from a reputable dealer! To be honest, I think I would've gotten it in June if COVID hadn't hit. And, if I had kept my SX-P order and not switched, I suspect it would've been October instead of July.

Thanks. I have been waiting on my car since January and will live vicariously through your pictures. The dealerships down here won't even let someone test drive a Telluride - they are in such high demand and the only SXP I have seen the inside of was at the car show. So pictures are all I have to go on.

Yes, it is! I was originally supposed to get Dune when I was getting the SX-P, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the butterscotch. It's quite nice!
