For what it’s worth, my dealer just bumped my 10/04 ETA to 10/31.

When they make one SXP a day...this is the new normal. Kia has lost their damn mind...For what it’s worth, my dealer just bumped my 10/04 ETA to 10/31.![]()
It’s disappointing. Just take care of the backlog before promoting your latest line. When they make one SXP a day...this is the new normal. Kia has lost their damn mind...
They bet early, and big that NF would be a massive hit...

I really like this idea and it certainly can't hurt. I say if @MarcinTexas 9/24 build slips, we should do this. It seems that his should hit before the rest of ours based on our ETAs.I say we pick a day and all of us waiting for an SXP bombard Kia Headquarters with phone calls to demand our vehicles be produced before the new Nightfall orders.
That sucks. I'm sorry. I will know on Thursday if my ETA holds as it is supposed to start production on 9/24.

I don't think that they really give a F**k! Dealers blame it on production, quotas, demand.....KIA blames it on covid, supply train, transportation no one wins except KIA and they are selling snake oil with all the NE and making a killing. Go ahead and try to call and email and see where that ends up. Hours on hold or email to presorted trash bin while the $$$$ to their bottom lines continue to add up. They are already well beyond giving a $h!t about the few of us that have had orders dating back to the early and pre covid days of this year. We are just pennies they are willing to lose while they pile millions to their bottom line. Why would they screw up a good thing just to take care of a few disgruntled customers who are willing to wait through this crap they are pulling.I don't think they will care to be completely honest.
A well worded email to their senior executive team with all of us copied on it with our dealers CC'd may actually help.
No executives like an email chain like that which can easily be forwarded to car magazine editors etc...wouldn't make out for good news. Especially if said email has timelines/diagrams/data that has been gathered here.
I'd say we write the email first. Get some low level communications employee to reply back to us and then forward that email to the car writers.Contact Jalopnik. They seem to have writers that might want to bring this mainstream.
Many of us here believe Kia is well aware of FC and they are letting it continue as free marketing.I haven't followed this thread thoroughly, so please excuse if this is based on incomplete information. If a campaign (of sorts) is started to inquire/pressure/publicize the issues with Kia manufacturing, won't that require publicizing the data from failcat in order to make the case? Won't Kia then just turn off that spigot and kill the information stream we now have?
I worry about the failcat issue as well.I haven't followed this thread thoroughly, so please excuse if this is based on incomplete information. People literally stalk on FC and take hours out of their week to call dealers for inventory that dealers don't know about...can't get much better than that for Kia.
