  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have recently (last week) ordered a Telluride in Snow White Pearl. When i check Failcat, it looks like there was only a handful of SWP (less than 10) made over the past 60 days, and a couple hundred made in early August. Should I be concerned about my leadtime as it looks like they havent made SWP in over two months? Or do you think they will have a string of days where they make a ton like before.

Seriously starting to second guess my decision for SWP instead of GWP.

SWP is shifting to GWP and there is a wide range of sales/dealer awareness around this. It shouldn't impact the lead time of your vehicle.

ok awesome! so im assuming it will just convert over automatically to GWP. I appreciate your note, made me fell much better.

I am only a potential future Telluride owner who feels educated based on the knowledge of other users. I don't know this color switch to be fact, just trusting others here on the forum. I am actually in the same boat as you - ordered SWP because at the time my dealership said GWP was for Nightfall only. They are still in that mindset but I'm just assuming my actual VIN will be produced GWP. It doesn't help that the Kia 'BUILD' function on the website still allows a user to choose SWP. These are odd disconnects that give me pause about moving over from the Honda brand (five vehicles) to Kia. I'm going to have my wife test drive some alternatives in the next five weeks before our Telluride arrives and then we'll make a final decision.

Here is a long thread on the subject:
Snow White Pearl vs Glacier White Pearl

SWP ended production in August and everything after that will be GWP. Many dealers are uneducated about this and still say you can get a SWP. Other posts on here can confirm it along with some of the dealers that are working with us on here. If you ordered a SWP but has not been built yet it will convert to GWP.
