So, this is a mix bagged. Some options like
floor mats and cargo covers are easy dealer install. You can still get them cheaper online. Other are not. For example.
the option for floor lighting kit will be dealer cost plus install time. Labor is your biggest problem. The average labor cost is about 80 bucks an hour.
I think retail for the kit is like 450. The invoice, if I am not mistaken is 330? Install time is about 1.5-4 hours. So it is going 450 to 650 dealer install, only if you can get them to sell you the part at cost. It will only cost 450 factory install. More then likely they will install it at retail plus labor.
Which is why you have the time consuming stuff installed at the factory. If the retail factory price=>labor price + dealer price, you get an it installed at the dealer. If the factory price <= dealer plus labor, then you get it at the factory.
For me, I just had anything that required labor to be factory installed.
Mud flaps, bumper protector, scuff plates, interior illumination kit, and skid plate. Please I know I am not going to get invoice pricing at the dealer and it will be retail plus labor.

Enter in your car and zip. It will give you dealer estimates. For example, for me, Ron Tonkin will charge 557. Weston kia wants 495 for the same install.
Installing at the factory saved me at least 40 bucks. But remember all this is starting price for negotiations.
