Order portal down?

Tried to place my order today for an EX, but dealership said Telluride order portal was down and had been all day. Stated they had been told to expect this when Kia made the switch to 2022 models. Manager said he’d get in touch with me when he could order again, but may be a few weeks.
Is this dealership yanking my chain? It’s my first time ordering, and I knew I’d be waiting for this gem, but the manager didn’t seem to be worried.

I have gotten the same message from a dealership in Conroe, Texas. Sounds like they expect it to be up within the week.

I was told today that Orders will be on hold for next 1-3 weeks until the '22 year models are configured in the system.

Yes we can no longer order 2021's and 2022's are not yet available to order.. so we are in limbo at the moment while they update 22 configurations.

Once 2022 option is up then we will enter 2021 orders that have not filled as 2022's.. after that takes place we will start again with taking new orders.

I’m waiting since 09/11/20. Am 18th on dealers list. I started at over 100.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! not that I want people to wait....just glad its not just me up here in little ol ND. I was 134th, not sure exactly where I am now. Order on 12/11/20. #tellurideorbust
