They kept me informed once they got information on my order or any other car I may be interested in that was already allocated to them. I’m a tad bit impatient, so I took it upon myself to call every month (mind you, I placed my order in Oct and was picked up in Dec!) Once my order was accepted, I received the call! Their customer service has been good! No complaints here.

It sounds like yours hasn't been accepted into KFOS yet. It's in the cue and is awaiting an allocation for your model. The dealer should notify you when it's been accepted, and then should let you know when it's built and give you a VIN. Then it's a matter of time before it ships, and they should be able to tell you about when it should arrive.

The best way to confirm this is yours, is to call and ask if it has been accepted into KFOS yet, if the answer is no, you know it's not yours. If the answer is yes, ask if they have a VIN for yours, if they don't, it's not yours. In addition, did you order it with your name? If you did, go to the track my vehicle thread and ask Stephen to track that VIN and give him your initials, he can let you know if your name is attached to the VIN
Awesome! If your car was accepted, the dealer should have a preliminary eta for your car arrival. I would ask them.
Within a couple of days after my order was accepted I received an ETA. As it turned out it came in a week early. I did not receive a VIN until it went into production which is normally a week are so before shipping.
Man that sucks! Sounds like a craphole dealership. Are you at least getting it at MSRP?......I would give it minimum of 2months from when your order got picked up by Kia for delivery. Thats just based on what i've noticed on this forum
So I was in the exact same boat. So I asked for a screenshot from the dealership to show my order was entered. They then sent me this. We ordered our SXP/NF/T in Glacier White on Jan 4, 2021. May request that. Hope this helps.

The saleperson at the dealearship I ordered was trying to give the same b**shit to me. I pressed a couple of time in order to get an answer on how many SX were in front of me. I was ready to ask to speak to the manager but he finally gave me the number. You should be ready to ask to talk to the manager. They think that because they told you the car should be ready in 2 or 3 month you should just stay back and check after 2 or 3 month. However, nobody wants to find out they got screw after waiting for months. That's why they have to be transparent as part of their customer service.
