If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. That post shows a copy of the order screen. Note the two selections on the right next to option group and ext/int color selections titled "exact match" and "color match" each with yes or no selectable. I can only infer from the image that those options would allow Kia to fulfill the order with either a different option group than requested (but same colors), different colors (but same option group), or just whatever they decide to send you (if both are "yes"). Someone else might have more insight though.

If a vehicle shows up on dealership inventory that matches my order does that mean it is in transit?

That happened to me about 2 weeks before I got it. Actually the dealer called me and said "Your vehicle just showed up on our website - must be close!" but then it was still a couple of weeks before I actually got it.

Does anyone have any insight on pricing for SX with Prestige package ordered last April? When this car finally shows up do I have to pay the April quoted MSRP, some new MSRP or has anyone been able to get any kind of discounts either in buying or leasing?

Just called my dealer and he tells me they have a VIN. Then tells me it's due for August 18th delivery. Then he tells me that another one is on the lot, same colors and package that I ordered. It's waiting for a guy who is also buying a house. He may want to put off delivery for a bit so the dealer says he can ask the guy if he wants to take delivery of mine while I take delivery of his. I went from hearing nothing and assuming mid September to this due to a random phonecall to my dealer. I'm a bit overwhelmed...lol

Had an interesting conversation with my dealer regarding orders today. I ordered grey sx awd with black interior jun 5. He said it now has an eta of “September” in the system. However they were on a conference call yesterday with corporate and all orders now have an estimate in the system. Also, AWDs will be prioritized. His best guess is late October due to this. Then again, he might be trying to get me to buy a white fwd he has coming in next week. Anyone else heard this?
Prioritizing AWDs doesn't make much sense... probably trying to get you to buy what he has coming in. I think they started producing a lot of AWDs and sending into the midwest - the FWDs seemed to arrive later in the Sunbelt states - but they keep trickling in. Orders did back up for SX Prestige trims - which are necessarily AWDs - and they are prioritizing those orders - so maybe that's what he heard/meant.

I've been following the forum since we ordered our black/black SXP w/tow on 6 April (in Hawaii)… Dealership has been very proactive in requesting status for our order, but appears to have been as unsuccessful as many of your dealerships with getting info from Kia. As of last week, our order had been received, but not yet filled. When all of a sudden, a big "what had happened was"..... An Everlasting Silver SXP w/tow and every single option that we had requested was in transit to the dealership. ES was a close second to the black, so we jumped on the inbound vehicle immediately! Will be here next week. What are the chances that the exact build, with different exterior color of course, would be on its way to Hawaii... Coincidence? I think not, but I'll take it!

I'm not sure if anyone on here other than me and I think @Gwyn ordered the skid plate. It has since been removed from Kia's site, so we have no idea if we are getting it, if it's holding up our orders, or what. I contacted my dealer about it and they had no info (as usual) so then I contacted Kia. Attached is the response (non-answer) I got from them. Dealer has a meeting with Kia rep tomorrow and is supposed to ask about it.
