@JasonFox. What’s your current lead time on an SX-P?
Yeah, I’m getting fed up with this. It’s a Kia, not a LaFerrari. I don’t think I want to wait any longer.4-6 months. KIA has no way of communication as to arrival.
Understood. We have some Palisade in-stock if you are interested?Yeah, I’m getting fed up with this. It’s a Kia, not a LaFerrari. I don’t think I want to wait any longer.
If the waits get longer and production slows (they produce the 2020 Sorento AND Optima at the same plant in GA) then buyers will look elsewhere. My two cents.Yeah, I’m getting fed up with this. It’s a Kia, not a LaFerrari. I don’t think I want to wait any longer.
We just placed an order today 9/24/19 for an EX FWD Moss/Gray with Kia of Muncie. We got our Costco pricing and am planning for the 3 month wait. But, hoping for less. We live in Florida and were tired of the Florida Dealership price augmentation down here. We will take a $100 or less flight to save $4k-$10k. We wouldn't have really thought about it until we found this forum. Thank you for the recommendations.
Maybe a New Year's Baby?!Just got an update. Kia Picked up the order. This should mean it will start getting processed. Very rough ETA 12/31/19.
Why do people here seem to feel that Telluride production has slowed? Can anyone confirm that or explain why that’s happening if that is true...???2021 Sorento comes out late fall. I'd say production slows on the 2020 but who knows.
You probably answered own question. We'd have a bunch if we marked them up. KIA has warned dealers.... Sold orders must be sold to the name on the invoice. Don't get caught making fake orders or you will not sell Telluride. So here's one maybe @Jason Fox can lend an ear on. Why is it that certain dealers get so many more tellurides than other dealers? Is it just history/volume/size? Are they willing to upfront a lot more $$$ to place fraudulent sales orders with fake customer names? (or keep orders open after cancellations?) I'm seeing one in my area getting 3x-4x what the others are and they're total slimeballs...
To clear what I said.... Production slows on 2020 Sorento. Why do people here seem to feel that Telluride production has slowed? Can anyone confirm that or explain why that’s happening if that is true...???
They give very little updated information. Dealer is best. We give our customers updates as we get them. Not so sure about others.Ordered Gravity Gray S AWD package with tow hitch on 8/8. Had order number printed off that shows order placed on 8/14. My dealership has been vague about updates and all they can say is “your status has changed”. Can Kia itself offer any updates with my order number?
Ahhhh, OK. My bad.To clear what I said.... Production slows on 2020 Sorento.
Four score and seven years ago, I ordered a Dark Moss AWD Telluride SX with butterscotch interior. Just kidding I ordered it May 20th. I finally picked it up my (wifes, LOL) Telluride yesterday November 20th. For reference it actually arrived around October 20th but had a scratch that took a month for them to get repainted. I put 100 miles on it, and it is everything I was hoping it would be. I got the 2.75% financing with $1k rebate and gave me the conquest rebate of $1k that was available at time of order. They honored the $12k in trade in for the 2012 Acadia Denali with 137k miles on it that we had also initially discussed. Took forever but glad to finally have it. Financing tried there best to up sell me on extra protections and what not for a some crazy prices. The only thing I was maybe interested in is an extended warranty which I am still up in the air about. However they could not touch what Jason Fox is offering at Kia Muncie and didn't believe me at first. Thanks again Jason for arming us with super competitive warranty offers, I will figure out soon if I am going to get the warranty or not.
Let me know if we can help.Requested customer ID on Monday. Called back on Wednesday and was told I’d get it. Still don’t have it. The service is horrible. Ready to move on.
