Double check the Request number and check to confirm the last 3 digits. If it is correct than holy cow that would kinda make sense trying to connect the dots. If you went in 11/11 they placed order 12/09...

Means possibly they had no one that knew how to do orders and did like a months worth of orders on the same day?!?

They have 13 Tellurides I can see on the way but none are SX AWD... what did you order??

As to going through MicheleW's spreadsheet, is there a way to tell what's been delivered? If I wanted to start dialing, should I start at the most recent VIN creation date?

Yes, start with most recent VIN date. They may be in transit, but you have a VIN - meaning a produced vehicle. They will be delivered if they haven't already. Most will be sold orders, but if someone backs out, you might get the call if you're first in line. It's rough...

Yes, this is frustrating. There are 84 dealers / 781 listed that have had 0 or 1 SX Prestige vehicles delivered. If Stephen doesn't see it- it is unlikely to arrive before March. Many are smaller dealerships. If they haven't cashed the check - you can always stop payment on the check and then tell them you want to cancel. But, before you go that route, I would try to find your desired vehicle from another dealership (or place an order from a higher volume dealership who can get it faster). You'll have to work the phone - and it will be frustrating - but not impossible. The inventory spreadsheet we have on the forum will help you narrow down allocations of your desired trim.

Good luck. Find out why they haven't gotten any prestige since initial run. Ironically, I contacted same name dealership in Mobile back in March-April about the SX-P Moss/Grey they had posted on cars.com. The pics of it were dirty on outside, and odometer pic showed 1200 miles - yet they weren't real straightforward about whether it was actually available. I think they were just posting it online to "sell from". They kept calling me for weeks... Ha.

Some dealers did get in trouble with Kia for placing fake orders ... and their allocations we're delayed. Maybe Kia punishes by not allocating Prestige trims. Who knows ... just speculation.

I ordered my sxp gravity grey, grey interior with illuminated scuff plates and wheel locks on August 29th was told last week that it would be in November 9th but no vin number was provided. Just got a call today saying it's ready for pick up all in all less than 8 weeks. I can't wait to pick it up. I ordered from a northern Virginia dealership.

Just take a screen shot of this and text it your your salesman. He will give it to a manager that has access to what I’m texting.

Make sure they give it to you as it shows the date you order was placed in the system

Wait a minute... how is that legal and if legal, how is it ethical on an order for to have them decide they aren't going to sell to you unless you now pay $60k? Did you have an order contract w/ a down payment? Did they just claim you never picked it up (yet never called you/contacted you to tell you), so now they've marketed the car and selling to the highest bidder?
