Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Just got the call a few hours ago...our Telluride has arrived at the dealership. Surprised them as they weren't alerted it was enroute. Too bad we are out of town till Wednesday, but we'll go pick it up when we get in. So excited!

I ordered SX FWD (no prestige package) from Fort Bend Kia in Texas in mid december. I am told 4-5 months. Anyone have an order delivered from them, if so how long?

Did you shop around Houston? I have seen several people buy from Fort Bend Kia. I have called Beck and Masten and Archer. Neither were very friendly and want to charge 4k above MSRP

From all dealers I have contacted, fort bend KIA was the only one that does not charge over MSRP and no dealer add ons either.
Thank you! I laughed at Beck and Masten. They said they charge 4k above MSRP. I have bought 4 cars from Beck and Masten. They wont be getting my money.

And Fort Bend is only asking for a $500 refundable deposit to place the order.

I would look at Fort Bend for an order (4-5 months), but you should ask about their order queue. They are the only dealer in town taking orders at MSRP right now.
Do look at inventory / order in Dallas area at Huffines Corinth and Classic Kia of Carrollton. Dealers @DonovanHuffinesCorinth and @StephenCantrelle can help you. They have inventory posted in Dealer Inventory section.

Well, it's my turn. I ordered a black SX w/ trailing pkg on October 2nd. It came in today, I'll pick it up tomorrow (New Year's Eve).
I'm ready to order an SXP in moss/black interior. I spoke with a few dealers in the Chicagoland area who have been telling me very different info about wait times. Dealer in Elgin who accepts Costco pricing says 6-8 months for SXPs. Another dealer in Elmhurst says 3-4 months. Any yet another dealer in Evergreen says 2-4 months. What should I believe? I'm afraid that the dealers that are quoting shorter time frames are just trying to get me to order from them but aren't being forthcoming about how long it will ready take. Thoughts?

I just got a call from Huffines Kia Corinth dealership where I ordered my Telluride from. I ordered an SXP Deep Moss with Dune Brown interior plus a few small extras. I ordered on November 21st. On the call he said he was happy to report my car would arrive on January 6th. This seems super fast! I was shocked to hear it was that fast that I’m slightly hesitant and would love to make certain it’s actually the vehicle I ordered and not just the same color and they are trying to offer me a “similar” one? @StephenCantrelle @DonovanHuffinesCorinth is there a way to validate the vehicle arriving on the 6th is actually the one I ordered on November 21st? Thank you!!

Depends on volume and how many they are averaging each month. Also depends on how many orders they currently have. But I highly doubt 2-3 mo

I was lucky and got mine in 2 months, it does happen.
This is so helpful. I plan to place an order with Gerald Kia of Naperville, largest volume dealer in Illinois. Told me they have 12 SXs in queue and 7 in production. I was told 4 months from order to delivery for SXP. I’m changing my mind every hour on what color to choose. I know I want black interior but exterior Moss, Everlasting Silver and Ebony Black all look great. So hard to decide!

Ordered my EX with a Premium package a week ago at Moritz in North Ft. Worth. They did it for MSRP, no money down (surprised me) and told me that it would take between 90 and 120 days to get there. Waiting to hear about a delivery date. When I asked him about why no money down to hold it, he said no real need. If I didn't take it, he could have that trim sold and off the lot in less than a week. They can't keep them in stock.
