I am hearing that Kia will no longer accept orders. Those ones that are waiting if your order was not accepted by the factory will be canceled. They said they cannot make anymore tellurides before the 2021 comes one.
Where did this come from?

Ha... yeah ok. They'd just convert the orders into 21's. No way would anyone with half a brain do that. Want to kill your brand, that would be the way to do it.

Exactly. Cancel and start over? Laughable.

Oh my, this will be a fun thread to watch :)

Some dealers told potential customers this a while back when their dealership was unable to place an order for whatever reason. Nothing new here. Just find another dealer who will take your order if you're interested in buying. Our Authorized Dealers on this forum will be the first to post order-relevant information that is truthful. Anything else is just a distraction.

This post should also be ignored due to incredibly poor grammar and incorrect word choice. Maybe a foreign troll.

Well said. Once it's in print or communicated to us you all will be first to know. I get countless emails daily regarding theory or witchcraft. All it does is provoke confusion amongst the general population looking for a vehicle. If I had $5 for every "I heard" I'd be retired.

Somebody posted it on facebook.. said that's what their salesman told them.

Apologies in advance if this has already been asked and answered. How accurate have the ETA's been? I'm curious if they've mostly been spot on or if it's more of a general time frame.

Thanks!
I was told 3-4 months lead time 14 weeks ago. My car hasn’t even been allocated yet.

if anyone is saying anything less than 6 months, don’t believe them if it’s an SX.

Likely what some have discussed about Kia checking the other day for real orders, and ones that are aging at the dealers. So this is a great sign I'd say.
I agree. They haven’t reached out to my store but probably just confirming orders are still in place and are real.

I called a local dealer and they told me the same thing after seeing this on FB.

In the past, Kia has punished dealerships that submitted fake orders or diverted orders to someone other than the person that ordered (basically selling to the highest bidder). It is possible that some dealerships are unable to order - but some don't want to order - they just want to sell what they get allocated on the open market. But, Facebook (wastebook) is not a good source for authoritative information. Bored salesperson at your dealership may have read the same post and interpreted it as fact!

Also, you should state the "local dealer" that you called so we can verify. Also, if you're waiting, state order date, dealership, trim, and order number - that will also help us verify info.
