Order to delivery time

Just got a call from a local dealer I want to use with 2 incoming 2021 Telly's both SX-P's...

told him to get his butt on here and they would be sold by now.

I didn't take either as they didn't fit my color combos.

Most of the new VINs coming out are all Black Interiors - do you think they are having supply chain issues on their other interior colors?

I have three roughly 13 Tellurides coming in over the next few months about 4 2020's and the rest are 2021's. I am selling them at retail price with an added protection plan that is $1595 from Zurich. I have some LXs , EXs and Sxs coming in. Please let me know if you know anyone that is interested. Again we do not mark them up like other dealers are doing. I have dates for arrivals on all Tellurides.

just got notified by my dealer that my EX-P ordered on 5/4 which got pushed from 2020 to 2021 model has a delivery time of August 22nd. Really hoping this changes . If not just sit tight and hope it's not further out!

Since KIA wasn't accepting orders in May - your dealer must have had a previously ordered unit that matched your model and color. Congrats - less than four months though is amazing.

@StephenCantrelle was there just a massive allocation frenzy that Kia just put out.

Between my local dealers calling me and the uptick here, just wondering.

Also if true - are you seeing any allocations with Interiors other than Black, or Gray in the next few months?

Yes the other half of people who had 2020's that moved to 2021's happened yesterday.
So people got their new ETA's.

With that said majority are okay with little longer wait to get 2021 and new features. The other people who weren't okay orders opened up and hence the uptick in activity

thanks man @MarcinTexas. Not sure how they pulled it off. I know it was a fresh order because when i put the deposit down, i was looking for a Sangria with grey interior and they didnt have any. That's what led me to put down a deposit for them to order but mind you I never got a VIN or anything. Had initial delivery time of end of June which I knew wouldnt happen then it jumped to July then got that call of being pushed to a 2021.
So excited!!!

Couple of things that everyone here will ask..

Where are you from?
Do you deal with out of state clients?
Are they required to come to your dealership or do you FedEX Docs?
Ask @Telluride Forum to get Authorized Dealer Tag
List all your incoming units and ETA's with Pricing in Dealer Section.
You should sell out of your inventory quickly on here. It is a great forum

From my understanding this uptick is being created by already allocated VINs being passed on by the buyers who ordered them.

Sucks that they all have Black/Gray interiors.

Their production is still below their pre-covid monthly average. I see no reason why the rail and trucking industry can't keep up with this lower output. We are seeing lots of activity here simply because the dam is finally breaking on some of these really old orders. But it isn't breaking because factory output is higher than it was when the delivery infrastructure was delivering even more cars to dealerships every month. Honestly - I expect ETA's to move closer as delivery trucks get out on the road.

He is telling me that the interior is dune brown but the image he sent me shows WK which from what I can tell is Black. I'm hoping that is just the general interior code and that it will be dune brown. Any insight would be helpful!

Correct if it is opt group 22 that that changes it to Dune Brown.
opt group 27 is Dune Brown with Tow Package
