Phone texting function through infotainment

Me too. Not sure if it's an Android issue with the infotainment or if this happens for IOS devices as well. All I know is that it's super annoying!

Same here! I get the alert fine but it'll tell me 3 different people texted me and sometimes it was not one of the people who it said it was

I do not have that issue when receiving texts. I have the latest infotainment update (last week) and have Android Galaxy S8

I do have the latest software update. I have never had the multiple or old text problems.

Meaning the car came with the newest update? I just got my car November 9th so I'm assuming I should have also had the new updated.

Meaning I had the latest update installed earlier this month. I bought mine in April.

Until a day ago, everything worked fine with receiving and sending texts via the system. Now, when I try and send a text through the system it says "No network response." It will receive texts. I stopped by the Kia dealership and was told the problem is the phone not the car. The phone is working fine.

Has anyone had an issue with the text alerting over bluetooth? Mine alerts just fine but when someone texts me, the infotainment system will alert for 2 or 3 other people at the same time. It's really annoying and I am at a point where I may just disable the alerts. Half the useful features seem to be disabled while driving anyways.

Did you find a solution to this problem? I have the same issue.

I tried clicking "read" on the screen and said feature not available while driving. I have an iphone.
