• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Prestige Package - worth it ?

The did say that the suede ish headliner for the Prestige cuts down on cabin noise which I could see it doing. I've got no comparison but the noise isolation in the Telly is great!
The downside would be you can’t hear those black helicopters following you :p

Facing this choice myself. Coming from a CX-9 which has a great HUD that you can actually adjust the level on the telly hud seems to be a bit too low from where I'd like it. I'm not sure the HUD is a need. The only other Prestige issue I'd miss, I suppose, is auto wipers but a stack full of hundred dollar bills in the passenger seat might make me live with it :)

It's certainly personal :)

Hud is adjustable; up, down, tilt, items shown, brightness, colors, size etc. just so you can make informed decision.

AHHHH nice - that is helpful thank you! The reviews I saw just stated 'the hud is a little low" which made me assume it wasn't something that could be altered. That probably pushes me that direction then.

Yes, the HUD seems to be more adjustable that most. From years of owning cars, I have always fell under the belief of buying a lower priced car with every feature you want rather than a higher priced vehicle that is missing items you want (not need!). If you are already asking about it, your thinking about it!

My wife is not the primary driver but she had auto wipers on an older car and she missed them on her Toyota so she will enjoy those on the prestige pkg. also.

The one in my CX-9 is really adjustable and I remember "raising it" because I'm 6'3 and it seemed low. It's good to know this would be ok.

Go with prestige. It’s well worth it value wise

Prestige FTW. The seats are beautiful, supple, and durable. The headliner is a bit ostentatious but I also had redone my Genesis’ interior in alcantara so I have a soft spot for suede / alcantara. The rest of it is just meh kinda cool stuff but why not? It really still helps the car punch above it’s weight as far as value to dollar.

You keep comparing your Corvette HUD to the Kia....curious to know what details/info your Corvette had compared to the KT now.
I get that you're generalizing the capabilities... but I'm gonna roll the dice that the HUD on the KT is a lot better (more info) than your Corvette.
My 2002 Vette’s HUD shows oil pressure, engine coolant temperature, fuel gauge, converts to a screen with full-size tachometer, and a speedometer. I have not Seen the Telluride HUD.

Impressive, but at age 78 it presents a condition of information overload. 😀
Fact is it helps me keep my eyes on the road instead of glancing down at the gauges. I pick and choose what I want to see in the and it is one of the main reasons I wanted the HUD. Poorer eyesight and slower reaction times as we age make me want to take advantage of all the technology there is to offer to keep me a safer driver. My eyes, reactions and senses have always been very good but I know they are not what they were years ago.

You make some very excellent points.... And I’m sure I would benefit from some of its features. Does the telluride give you the option to customize the projection on the windshield.? My Corvette gives me the option of choosing between four and five screens showing different information on each.

Yes. You can select what info is presented/projected.

Yes and you can save it to your driver settings for the two different memory seating positions.

My participation in this thread is like a pizza place asking me if I want extra cheese :) now I've learned I can get the prestige one 2 weeks earlier lol
