    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Radio and Carplay fighting

I recently experienced when my iphone (and my wife's) was hooked up to Carplay and when I wanted to listen to radio it will revert back to Carplay after a few seconds. Has anyone experienced that? Any possible solution? Should I push the 'hard reset" button next to the engine button?
 
It depends what she is doing on her phone. Playing certain games, using certain apps (youtube, instagram, snapchat), or using the web browser will sometimes automatically activate audio over CarPlay.

Only way to avoid auto switching is to have her plug into the non-data USB port.

Wife was playing HER (lol) Podcast over the data port, then I pressed the radio button and this happened. I had no choice but to continue listening to HER Podcast :-(
