I installed some LED reverse lights now but the issue is that they work when reversing, but when you put back into park or drive, they stay on. They dim and do not shut off. Anyone else have this issue?
No issues with the bulbs I ordered.

Installed mine last night, looks great! Those were the last incandescent bulbs left, everything is now full LED. Wasn't too bad of an install, maybe 20 minutes.
Once you've removed the power-lift gate button (if applicable), I highly suggest taking out the 4 screws like @utmeep mentioned (2 behind the grab handle cover, 1 on either side – higher up). You'll have to remove the top 2 panels to get to the higher screws. Just take your time and they should pop right off, exposing the screw. Then, once you have all of the screws out, I'd suggest popping out the least amount of clips from the larger trim piece as possible...too many will add to the difficulty of lining everything back up. So, just pop out only as many as you need to fit your hand in there. It's a bit tight to be honest, but the bulbs twisted out relatively easily. Another tip, take note of the orientation of the bulb before taking it out, that way you'll have a reference to where it needs to be once you go to reinstall it with the new bulbs. I didn't do this for the first bulb, and I had trouble lining the bulb back up since it's hard to see even with the panel loose. Once the bulbs are in and tested, replace the screws, carefully snap in your trim pieces, and you're good to go!
These are the bulbs I used, match my other bulbs perfectly. Great reviews, too:
I bought these to avoid destroying my plastic trim, makes things a bit easier:

Weird those are the same bulbs I bought buy they stay on after putting the car back into park. They dim to a dimmer white whereas reverse brightens to a much brighter white.

You are 90% LED. Did you replace these?

According to the manual, there are two types of front SIDE MARKER LIGHTS: Bulb and LED. I don't think trims below SX have LED, since the lower trims all have the same headlight assembly. However, I can't see how that bulb can be replaced without a lot of work. I really hope it's just a typo and the front side markers are actually LED. I can't image how much it'll cost to replace a blown-out side marker bulb!

I haven't replaced that bulb, actually. But I don't consider it necessary to change that one since it's simply a side marker, and doesn't serve any other purpose, really. I'll probably keep that one as is.
I'm going to order them. thanksW16W
THANK YOU INFINITELY FOR THIS!!!! AMAZINGNESS!!!! Just ordered the led's can't wait BEYOND EXCITED!!!!!!!Someone on a Telluride Facebook group replaced them and spilled the details on how to do it!
Rather simple... grab the handle on the inside of the hatch while open, and twist it back towards you and should reveal 2 screws.. remove the screws and gently pull the panel back which reveals the location of the bulbs..
That's what i was thinking too that if only i remove the side panel as well then only i will be able to remove the whole panel and start aligning the pins..i am just scared of removing side panel and couldn't put it backRemove all the panels. Begin at the top. It's only fasteners. Pry out. Remove the side panels by removing the screws. Gently separate the side panels from the bottom panel. Take notice on how the side panels and bottom panel hook up. Now reinstall the bottom panel. The pins will now line up. Next, attach the side panels with their screws. Finish with the top panel. That's how I did it and took me 10 minutes to put back together. Not very difficult. Good luck!
ElCangriz,So here's my rendition of replacing the Reverse Lights With a Very Cool Looking Strobe LED Light... This is BEYOND simple to do anyone can do it so rest assure. So to answer right off the bat no these do not strobe continuously when on; when you change your gear to Reverse they strobe (blink) 3 times and then stay on for the duration the gear is in Reverse. If you have any questions feel free to reply Hope this helps!

Yeah, it really doesn’t make too much difference since it doesn’t blink. I’m not changing it either. You won’t be able to tell the difference between incandescent and LED for this application. I just wonder what’ll happen it if burns out. It says to take it to the dealer.
Anytime! ^_^ElCangriz,
Thank you for the excellent tutorial. I have the bulbs and I am waiting for my Telluride to arrive.
Oh, there is a difference, especially in the front side markers. Installation is difficult, but not impossible.
