• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When backing my EX, the Reverse Parking Aid Function is supposed to lower the outside mirrors for a better rear, downward view. This function doesn't happen. I called the dealer and was told this is an SX function. Is this true only for the SX model? Has anyone had the same experience.

It’s true, this mirror function is only for the SX.

Thank You! It is a nice function when backing into a tight location. Looks like I will have to do it manually when needed

There is a function where you can angle the backup camera down. Not helpful for the curb, though.

Yes, that one of those functions described in the manual but NOT asterisked*** to denote *IF EQUIPPED -frustrating.

this function requires a memory block and usually only goes if there is a seat memory. by the way, I have a block that activates this feature. I can give it for free, write if interested. But!!! to connect, you need to cut into the standard wiring.

Mirror switch on door has to be in LEFT or RIGHT position

OP asked 2 years ago and has an EX trim, which does not have tilt down reverse mirrors.
