• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I was moving a television in the back of my telluride today and it ripped the “carpet” material in the back. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks! It’s just a tear but it’s really annoying. It’s not the leather part, but the part behind the bench in the second row.

I can see how this would happen. The quality of the material covering the backs of the seats is modest at best. I believe there is a product used in clothing that is useful such as this https://www.amazon.com/GEAR-Tenacio...ous Tape to fix, what Mother Nature dishes out. or this https://www.amazon.com/Dritz-55140-66-Mending-Assorted-13-Inch/dp/B000XZY30K I am usually a fan of heat activation as long as the material is up to task. As long as the rips isn't at a place where you have don't have material, slide this directly under the tear, approximate the tear to match up the sides, (may need help) and apply the heat. Its similar to carpet seaming. If you don't feel confident, you can try the self stick. Next buy a protective carpet. The OE one that fits on the back of the seats is working well for me.
