Side view mirror replacement help

I did the similar mistake. Got overwhelmed with technology and narrow parking right next to pole.
It barely even touched the pole and something broke. There is no scratch or damage on outside.

I want to know if I have to replace the whole assembly or whether this can be repaired. It's an SX sangria model.

Can I see the video? Also want to know of glass mirror is a simple pop out. I just have a broken glass mirror.

Glass mirror just pops off. move it over to one side. Gently pull it off.

How do you fix the side view mirror that was full forward by hitting the garage. No broken pieces but is dangling and off the motor. This is a 2023 KIA Telluride EX AWD. You cannot pull the side door the same way as a 2022 or earlier model. Also I can't figure out how to get it back on the motor.

Unfortunately you will need a new mirror assembly. You can then transfer the painted parts.

UGHhhhh.... I Just did the same thing and backed out of the garage and busted the mirror off the motor. The housing is fine. I just ordered a replacement assembly and hoping its plug and play and am able to swap out the painted parts on the new assembly. Any advise or tips would be very much appreciated!! 2022 SX

So, this has been a pretty helpful thread about folding side mirror repair. I had a side mirror against side mirror crash and luckily mine didn't break the plastic exterior, but the internal gears and or motor are probably broken. It no longer folds.

Has anyone ever seen the internal gears of the telluride mirror? I've looked them up on eBay and there seems to be 2 different styles. No sellers list the telluride as having either of them but I have a feeling that one of them will fit. I just don't want to take the whole thing apart to order them and then put it back together while I wait for delivery. It just seems like a long difficult process dismantling the mirror.

Also looking to fix our rear view on the drivers side. Nothing broken, it just has decided not to retract consistently and it won't hold its position. Do I need and can I just replace the motor or do I need an actuator too? The glass hold its position, it's just the whole mirror that won't hold its position consistently. Thanks!
