• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Have a SX-P, been leaving the flip lid open because I use the USB & cigarette lighter port. Noticed a slight audible vibration whenever the car rides over bumpy road, sounds like if you shook a few small beans in a container. Nothing major but slightly annoying.

In specific, the area I am referring to is the cover you push down to cover the wireless charging area: Flip lid stuck closed

Anybody else experience this, and any remedies available?

I have this as well when crossing some train tracks. If it is closed, I don’t hear it. It also surprised me that the lid wasn’t spring loaded.

I was at the dealer today and they couldn't pinpoint the issue. Will have to send them a video.

Easy fix would to keep it open. Or try putting a small rubber pad like material were the lid closes.

The vibration sound is from when the lid is open. I plan on looking at the interior components today and will try to apply light nonabrasive lubricant to the moving parts inside.

On further investigation I was able to hear the rattling sound coming from one of the two hinges that's underneath the cover on the left/right side. Moving the cover slowly up and down made a squeaking sound that I am sure was leading to the vibration noise. But I wasn't able to pinpoint which part I need to lubricate. Will have to get a snake camera in there soon but the current temporary remedy I made was to tape a small piece of foam about 1.2 in thick on the cover so there's a cushion between the top of the cover and where it meets the housing. No noise since then and it doesn't look too intrusive.
