• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I own a s model and want to switch my front and tail lights to the sx model ones with the amber day running lights and the back ones to the fiber optic lighting is that possible or not at all

Front lights, yes. There is a member on here who makes a plug and play harness to adapt the SX lights to other trims. You would need that harness and the light housings from an SX model. Depending on where you find the housings, it will probably be $1000 or so for everything you need.

As for the rears, you’ll need the LED housings from the upper trims. I am not sure what wiring changes would need to be made, but they are not a direct plug and play from what I have gathered.

There are few other threads on this. Good luck.

LED headlamp retrofit person to contact, machtig. Makes the plug and play harness and regulator.

Retrofit EX with SX LED headlights

Led tail lamp retrofit person to contact, patmatt. Has made the most progress trying it himself. With the help of mrad31, who did a retrofit rear fog lamp.

I just did the headlights this weekend on my S and its went perfect. Easy plug and play, just a little time consuming with the bumper pull, but nothing too bad. The kit machtig sells is incredible, just research buying the headlights in the forum mentioned above. I bought my pair for a little under $600, had everything vital to put on and they are literally night and day difference from the halogens, even if you put led, hid in them.
