• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... SX foglights

Did you ever get these fog lights wired up?
No sir. My HIDs are so good and time’s been so limited that the project has fallen low in the big list.

I'm new to the Forum and would like to add PIAA fog lights to my new EX. After looking at the lower grill location, installing these lamps in this space (like the SX) looks difficult. I removed the splash guard under the bumper in an attempt to remove the lower grill assembly. I decided to see if anyone had done this before so my question is: Has anyone installed these PIAA lamps into their Telluride? Any suggestions would be very helpful

That looks sharp! Can you share the make and model and possibly take a closer pic to the mounting?
can you please share a link for the DRLs and also how easy was the install?

Thank you for your reply. I would like to install the PIAA lamps myself. The lower bumper trim insert would need to be removed to bolt the lamps in place. The PIAA's would be a tight fit in the Bumper Trim and the plastic insert would have to be cut away in order to place them in the cavity. My question is, how do I remove the plastic trim? Any experience in doing this would be helpful. Thanks!Fog Light Bumper trim.JPGPIAA RF6 Lamps.JPG

I would use a Dremel, hacksaw and/or box cutter. It would be good if you could find someone local to you that is handy with this kind of stuff and has tools.

@jonroth ,

Here's another recent link from the forum of a foglight install.

Sorry for the delay - on the road. 29MPG during the first 1,200 mi road trip.
I think I'm going with a set of PIAA lights that virtually match the SX lights. My guy said it's easy to wire them into the parking lights or headlights (his recommendation). If you want a separate switch you'll either need to replace with the SX blinker stalk or add a separate switch. However, that's gonna add cost and time, so if you're using a lighting pro it's gonna get expensive.
Long story short - not sure if I'm gonna jump. My guy thought 2-3 hours at $100/hr +$300 for the lights. If I want it switched, unsure about add'l time or costs...
Put a set of LED DRL's on (not wired yet) just to see what they'll look like. And I really like that look.View attachment 2921
What was the HID conversation kit that you used?

Looking to install fog lights. where in the fuse box near the battery is the fuse located to connect the wiring directly to the headlamp when I turn them on? I also purchased a strip light for my running board and wanted to connect those lights with the turn signal , hazard and when the door opens . ANY help would be nice
