I am in the southeast (NC) and have been searching far and wide. Our local Asheville dealer had a $7,900 markup that I got down to $3,000 and then down to $1,000.

When I was about to make the purchase I found that ALM South is selling for about $1,000 BELOW MSRP. So, for anyone who is looking, ALM South currently has a good deal going on.

If you are willing to travel, try contacting Kia of Groton, CT. I drove from central PA to get a 2022 AWD Ebony Black SX Prestige w/ black interior and Tow package for MSRP. For me that was a better deal than getting a 2023 SX with a $2K markup. Worth a call. Don't go by the price on their site. They had mine listed at $60K but paid MSRP for it.

They are selling the base model for less. All the popular models have a mark-up.
