  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When do you think the frenzy for the Telluride will die down? I can wait until end of the year if necessary. I’m hoping supply will catch up to the demand so market adjustments are a thing of the past.

I'm thinking this craziness will last through the first quarter of 2020' then die down.

KIA only planned to build 40k. They bumped that up. It's the dealers treating these trucks like one off Bentleys that has caused the madness. Yes, supply down but things will catch up at some point.

I hope that everyone remembers which dealers are marking up prices, so we can treat them at least as badly as they're treating us. What comes around goes around. I'm not a buyer of the Telluride, (we're empty nesters) but I think the owners group should make a list of the way the dealers treat them, so everyone can know which ones don't deserve our business on any Kia. I own a Cadenza sedan, and my wife owns a Sorento SX.

I feel like to some extent Kia has already caught up quite a bit compared to 3 months ago. Back then inventory of SX’s was sparse and stayed sparse. I see a lot more SX inventory than I did back then. Glad i didnt put in an order because I just found what i wanted at MSRP after only being back in the hunt a few days.

This applies the the southeast only by the way. Out west apparently still terrible. But the Atlanta area seems to stay fairly flush.

I think things will settle down next Spring, early Summer. Also a new Sorento is in the horizon, so maybe people who don't need a large 3rd row (like me) will be tempted by that whenever it shows up.

I too am seeing a lot more SXs on-line within a reasonable distance from my house. I just wasn't willing to play the back and forth with them risking hidden fees or dealer add-ons. One dealer wouldn't even tell me that the SX listed online was already sold, but still tried to get me to come in. Plus, once i'm paying this much for a car, I need the exact options/colors- I'm not gonna just settle on what they have!
