• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... My neighbor comes over to look at my new Telluride and makes the statement, "Oh you downgraded?" To me it was an upgrade over my Lexus. What a quack!

Yeah, just somebody who doesn't know. TBH, I never thought I'd buy a Kia but sure have been happy with the decision so far.

Same here. Replaced our Lexus RX350 with an SXP. Couldn't be happier.

I’ve owned both. While the Telly has great features, it is a downgrade in prestige and build quality.

It all depends on what you are using to judge the value and prestige. I know people who could drive/be driven in a rolls and choose to be in a G90. To them that is the better choice.

I thought when I got my Telluride that it was slightly less cache than the Jeeps I had previously. But after several years with it I am very happy with my choice. There are definitely things the Jeep did better (off-road capability for one, I also think the paint was better on the Jeep). But the Telluride is higher rated and more saught after than luxury brand options in the segment. I'll stick with the Telluride.

Get use to it. KIA has a ways to go to get that level of Prestige. Doesn't mean they won't and they certainly are heading the right way

Errr… sorry Steve, didn’t know you get offended so easily.

My neighbors are thinking about getting a Telly after seeing mine (22 SX, Nightfall). They're even more impressed since I sold a 2020 Mercedes GLE450 to buy the Telly. It takes a while for auto brands to acquire cachet - in the 70s Toyota was known for cheap economy cars (Corolla) and in the 90s Hyundai was cheap brand (Sonata?).

I downgraded 2 sizes from Suburban, but upgraded to features and prestige (SXP Nightfall).
