• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Telluride Sales Numbers

What mid-sized suv has a brake booster and 7-pin?
It seems like a lot of price conscious people are holding off on Kia and want a better deal. Potentially loosing customers for other brands, or everyone is shopping for subjectively “good looks”. They should really think about what they’re doing in for long haul, pilot and Highlander have been on the market in a while, obviously they have returning customers because of something. What happens when in 3y someone wants to trade in Telluride and for paying 55k they get 25k.
No an entirely great analogy but something for some folks to consider as I recently had to think about some similar numbers. I currently have a 2015 Ford Flex...love it...2nd one. I have 80K on the odo. I have been watching this segment very close over the past couple of years to determine what I might trade the Flex for. There is nothing in this segment that truly compares to the Flex. It does not have the same ground clearance as the others, but that has never been an issue. Being a huge box, the use of space is fantastic and the visibility is great. I looked at what I would have for a trade number on something that I may have been interested in and realized that I could have another vehicle for the trade price. This allows me to hang onto my Flex for some time by keeping the miles off of it and have another vehicle that can be more "fun". The Telluride is in the running to trade, but I am against paying MSRP and do not want to purchase a 1st year vehicle (which is also why I didn't purchase an Ascent yet). I am also hoping our local KIA dealer can learn how to properly take care of a client. So, for the time, I get to drive around in this beast as a second vehicle for a similar cost to trading. Would be surprised if Kia has been able to increase production capacity of the Telluride to pass the Ascent or Atlas in sales (if they continue at the rate of May's nos.).

Still, if the Palisade sells as well as the Telluride (supply can be an issue as it's been selling well in Korea) here. that means the H/K proper 3-row CUVs will sell as well, if not better than the Honda Pilot.

Rio and Soul sales are up YTD, as well as for the Optima (just barely, so likely won't be going forward).

The Sorento was up for the year until May.

W/ a new Optima and Sorento on the way, the Alabama plant will be humming.
No plans to increase Telluride production at this time. We are at max production currently. The new optima and sorento come out next year. The Pallisade will be priced much higher then the Telluride. Sales in the US will be a lot lower based on sales in Korea and other countries.

How is the quality of the telluride? Hope not like VW atlas, there are so many issues for Atlas at beginning
I LOVE my new Telluride. Owned 2 Sorentos before this and by miles rubies is much better!

Just had my 18 JL bought back for atrocious frame welds. Hope you have better luck! Switched to the telluride and can't believe I ever enjoyed driving a Wrangler. I will never own another one!

I have read about the issues with the JL Frames. Sorry about your luck, fortunately, our used '15 JK has been good. I am please to hear that FCA is stepping up and doing the right thing for the JL customers and buying them back, this somewhat surprises me since they don't have a great reputation for service ;) For me, this is my 2nd daily driver, I switch between the JK and my Ford Flex. I was able to justify the Jeep purchase as a means to hang onto my Flex longer. We had a TJ several years ago. I would not like to have a Jeep as my only daily driver and would hate it on road trips. The funny thing is that they are tinny, loud and very outdated as far as technology and something about that puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I grew up with a '78 Blazer, so I think the rough ride, road noise and tinny sound when you close the door takes me back to my childhood. I honestly cannot believe how many "soccer parents" are driving around in Wranglers as their daily, especially for what they cost. The thing is a beast on the trails though.

Unlike you, I doubt our family will ever not have a Wrangler in the stable, but then again, for us it is mainly for fun. We have a couple other fun cars as well. Sadly, my wife wants us to part ways with the 1996 Buick Roadmaster Wagon (background). The last year of the full-size American RWD Wagons. Darn thing still gets 25 MPG on the HWY.
