• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Saw a GG NFE coming toward me from a mile away, on the other side a country road. You just can't miss those amber daytime running lights. I tried to wave when we passed but the woman just kinda looked at me without any accompanying hand gestures.

I miss the days when people were universally better at non-verbal communication :ROFLMAO:
Yes, the amber drl's are hard to miss. I did a double take on a white drl today to verify it was a telluride.

Creepin on an ebony black SX, looked like butterscotch seats getting a car wash. 😂 was in my other car though so of course he IGNORED ME.

I’m nosy; What’s the GMC that you have?

This. Those amber DRLs are a give away when on an interstate.
That and the slight head nod, or the forehand of your driving hand raising when at the 12 o’clock of the steering wheel, the hand wave when handing out of the window

It’s my wife’s 2020 Acadia

@Mainfinger how do you like that Acadia. Had a first year 07; loved the vehicle but it had issues. Just wondering how the new offerings were

Have only had it for 2500 miles but so far seems fine. Doesn’t get driven much by me, my wife works from home and it basically goes to target /Walmart and back. 😂 She bought that herself and she loves it, but would 100% take my telluride over it though. The Acadia is faster though. Got a turbo in that puppy.

They put a turbo on that V6? Interesting

They don’t. The V6 is naturally aspirated... they do offer a 2.0 L turbo four, however.

Honestly; the V6 was gutless IMO. I can’t imagine a turbo four would be any better

Saw these today in the same parking lot! (one is mine :) )

Good finds!
I love that Gravity Gray

Today’s flavor: EX EB NE

Can someone tell me what’s going on with the window trim on this NE? Looked odd to me- the black satin chrome mixed with the regular satin chrome. This isn’t usual, is it?
The tag is a new car temp tag, so that confuses me even more.

Also, why isn’t the EX V6 blacked out? It should be blacked out like the rest of the emblems. Very strange.

Been seeing more and more Tellurides. On my way down the 101-S before Santa Barbara, I shared the road with a Wolf Gray EX NFE. I kept trying to get a wave, nod, or any acknowledgement at all but the blonde just headed down the highway without noticing my mossyness.

Yesterday, I saw a SWP SX AWD with Dune Brown Nappa drive through a supermarket parking lot.

Today, I was testing out a potential morning commute from Camarillo to Santa Monica down the PCH and passed an Everlasting Silver Telly. Tried to get the driver’s attention with a wave and a short honk. Zero acknowledgement. Plus, the guy was covered up in what looked like a beekeeper or hazmat suit. People here are freaking out, recoiling in horror when they see me driving in my own car or jogging in the countryside maskless, another reason I’m eventually moving to a free state.

Anyway, the first honk I’ve ever attempted in my Telly surprised me. For a car with such a masculine stance and design language, the horn struck me as a bit wimpy.

My phone is normally plugged in while I’m driving, CarPlaying downloaded songs on the excellent Harman Kardon sound system, so I never take photos while driving.

Instead, here are some shots of my Telly while parked at the Whole Paycheck parking lot in Malibu.

Looks a bit cleaner after the free rainstorm carwash and cleaning the sides a bit with a $3 microfiber washing glove I picked up at Harbor Freight Tools.

@DarkMossJustin , very nice photos and a good looking car. It’s great to hear that more are popping up, but a bummer to see that few appreciate the culture of a good wave and nod.

I have only seen one Telly in my colour and it was just yesterday. Tried so hard to catch the driver's eye. Was gonna do the nod. Couldn't get his attention, so then I waved like a clown for a little bit. Nope. Didn't see me.
