• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
    If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The standard EX rims are 18s. The S/EX-P rims are 20s.
@TellTastic, were those standard or S/EX-P? I'd like to acquire some like the one in the photo for Snow/Off-Road, but only if they're 18". I'm happy with my 20" SX wheels for 95% of my driving but would love a little more side wall for Blizzaks or A/T off-road tires, so I'm thinking maybe 18s? Someone mentioned that I might have problems trying to fit 17"s with the stock Telly calipers/brake system?

Saw my first Sangria Telly yesterday. I was driving south and it was going west at an intersection 50 years ahead of me. Wasn't able to get a picture, but it was a nice looking color. No idea what trim level as it went past too fast.

Heart shaped wheels are 20". 18" with blizzaks work without fitment/rubbing/speedometer issues.

@DarkMossJustin , see @Lith_SXPN ’s post.
there’s a few threads out there that have discussed wheel fitment and ride quality at 18 and 20.
My .02 - the need for a winter’ vs ‘summer’ set depends on where are you live. Personally, I’m not gonna waste the space in the garage just to have a second set lying around. Then again, I don’t live in a place that I truly need to fight through the elements lol!!

Hi @TellTastic:

I'm currently in sunny CA with no current need for 2 sets of wheels/tires for winter and summer conditions.

That being said, many parts of my home state are devolving into a hellish landscape that I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies, so I'm actively acquiring land in better, safer, more affordable parts of the country where I can let my Malinois pups run and live free and two sets of wheels make sense.

You're right about space considerations. While I do have limited space in Cam and at the family home in NorCal (2-car garage), I won't have limited space on my 280 acres in SD with a steel-sided barn, workshops, etc.

I'm just trying to find out what rims will work best with the stock configuration (brake system, calipers, etc.) and Blizzaks for the snow/ice and especially Off-Road All-Terrain tires for some fun on the trails.

Thanks for the helpful feedback :)

Nice looking AWD S V6 Telly parked in Old Town Camarillo today. Yup, the winds gave our cars a nice layer of dust/dirt :)tempImagea4CYAO.webptempImageJFEhN3.webp

Glad I stopped to pick-up some prescription Ibuprofen after work yesterday and spotted this beauty in the parking lot:

AWD Black NFE Telly SX with OEM side steps and cross bars looking super nice contrasted with the white truck next to it under the pale blue sky. The long horizontal aluminum line on the side of the side steps really pops with everything else blacked-out. Too bad I couldn't click a button and activate its amber DRL's :)

Wednesday 4:33 pm at the KP lot next to the 101-S, Ventura, CA
