I just got this message from the dealer:



Let the celebration BEGIN! Sadly, I cannot go to pick it up until next Thursday (out of state commute, work things).

Haha! Totally agree . To be fair, it was a GIF <excitement>. I immediately asked for pictures and she said after the get the paper off the car.

Also for what it is worth, I said:
To confirm, I won't be able to pick it up until Thursday, you will not offer it to someone willing to pay well over asking OR let it be used to be a test drive car. Thankfully, they said no to both with enthusiasm.

Yeah - I don't want my car used as a tester either when it comes in. I will be hoping on a plane the next day after it arrives to fly up and get my car from @StephenCantrelle. Man - I can't imagine your excitement.

No car that is Sold at my store is allowed to be a tester of any kind.. not even in parking lot.

LOL Yeah - I think I remember a while back you posting pictures of Tellurides that had arrived that were hidden back in a garage of some kind waiting for deliver to the customer. That is what I call protecting your assets.

I think it is 12-13 miles. I haven't watched in a while. Car Confections put three videos of the Telluride being built on Youtube. Here is the 2nd video showing the test drive:

I always see 300 miles on brand new Telluride listings...

That many miles would 100% mean that was a tester vehicle.

Mine had 13 miles at pickup. My sales rep said they do some testing/inspection when they arrive so I imagine the dealership added a few. Not enough miles to cause any concern.

But seriously mine had 12 before a 4mi test drive we had. Anything over 20ish I would count as suspect unless for a legitimate reason like service issues resulting from their pre delivery inspection at the dealer. But the dealer should disclose these issues and their remedies to you before the sale.
