• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Black Copper

Ordered my Telluride Dark Moss, EX premium package, black interior on Saturday! Now I wait, they told me 3 months, maybe sooner.

Hope you got the grey interior, now that's a hot combo right there.

Nope, don't like the light gray, but that's me, got black!

More orange than a purple. As some have said, think root beer in the sun at angle, otherwise it'll be black. It's going to look awesome. I'm anxiously waiting on mine.

You won't see many like it on the road as they haven't produced too many. I'm seeing the green, gray, and plain black mostly in ones I've seen on the road. I thought about the green which looks nice, but it's becoming too common for me. Also saw a Red/Sangria today which was so/so to me prob. because it was dirty from road salt.

It's not. Think of Root Beer

Sounds awesome, we also ordered the Black Copper unseen.

See this post Picture.

Scroll down a few posts and see the pics I put of my Volvo paint. Not a direct match, but similar.

So this is the best picture I have been able to take that shows the "uniqueness" of the color....your first impression is "it's black" but a second or two later you are thinking "something is different" and its the hint of "copper" that does it! This pic was taken in full sun after I came out of the car wash!

Yup....you got it!!

thinking about having a ceramic coat put on ours, or possibly clear bra the whole thing, has anyone done so yet?

The color is so unique I think it would pop even more so with a ceramic coat that makes it look more glassy all the time.

Not many opportunities to see these in person, but had a dealer tell me it's pretty similar to the Black Cherry for the Soul. Might be more likely to see that.

I don't think so. Looks like Root Beer

Ok....here's what ya need to know: I have a friend who own's a KIA dealership ( for the past 30 years or so) and is also a "car fanatic" ....kinda like me....who has his own collection of beautiful classic cars, etc. When I bought my SX P , he recommended a product I did not know of ...."Meguiar's Ceramic Wax" USE that as step 1 and then step 2 is to buff it off with the following: Detailers Liquids - Griot's Garage It is simple , quick, and is the most fantastic finish I have ever dealt with in MANY years. ( and I am a former judge at car shows ) . Bottom line it's easy and you do not have to pay someone to "ceramic coat" your car. Key point: it is perfect for dark finished cars, white and other light colors.......do not know.

Thanks for the information. We want to apply a ceramic coat to our black copper telluride but we were sure which products to use. We used Black Magic on our new Nissan 350z and the finish looked like glass for over a year.

Which product from Griot's Garage are you recommending. The link goes to a page with multiple products.
