The KIA Telluride in Wolf Gray

The Kia online build tool is hopeless. This has been covered extensively, especially in this thread.

As of right now, about 1 out of 5 SX Tellurides manufactured in wolf gray does not have the prestige package.

I am the proud owner of a WG with tow, nightfall, awd, SX but no prestige. Was not willing to pay extra for leather upgrade, heads up display and second row heated seats, but wanted all of the other SX features like LED lights & fog lights, better stereo, mood lighting, surround view monitor, and memory seats, so the EX would not have worked for me. There is a Telly out there for every future owner - good luck!

Hmmm, when I messing around with the build tool on Kia's website when you select Wolf Gray it automatically add's Nightfall, AWD and Prestige. I just checked and when I unchecked Prestige it kicks you off the build and into the EX option build for the EX which seems to indicate that Prestige is a requirement for Wolf Gray.

I can confirm that the prestige is not required. I just got my WG SXNF on Saturday and it does not have the prestige package!

Have not seen it in person on a telluride but the one I saw on a K5 had the absolute slightest hint of a metallic flake. But could have been dirt

Nope, none at all. Just a straight color.

The wolf gray is a flat finish -no sparkle factor. My kids tell me flat colors are 'on trend', whatever the heck that means. All I know is that I love it. My Telly gets eyeballs on her wherever I drive her. As common as white/silver/gray finishes are out there, I have never seen anything like wolf gray.

My friend has the Wolf Gray and it definitely has metallic in the paint, but it’s more subdue than other paint with a metallic finish.

Well now I feel like a complete idiot. I went out and stared at my WG Telly, up close, and sure enough, there are itty bitty sparkley bits in that paint. Faint, but they are there. Not visible from a distance, if that helps any!

Don’t feel like an idiot, I owned the car for several weeks before noticing, and only when it was in a unique angle in the sunlight one morning.

Here is a picture I took of a K5 in WG. You can see that metallic in the picture. It also has the dark red interior which I love. Same as the Stinger. I don't know why they didn't put that in the T-ride.

Probably because if they add it everyone would cancel all their orders and get wolf gray/red

If the WG Telly had that interior I think there would be no question for me. But I'm back to probably going GG with Dune

Dude this is like the 10th time I've said something about it, but I'm SO salty about that. I just don't understand. Dune brown is head & shoulders, like almost objectively, nicer looking than the black. Ours isn't scheduled to be delivered until the end of this month, but every day I think about cancelling and either waiting for the 2021 model to feature that combination, or just pick something else entirely. Can't decide if interior or exterior is more important, heh.
