• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The Vintage K Metal Skins (front and rear) are just about ready...

As you know I ordered the Vintage K (again) and I received it today. Thank you for the quick shipment! Now I gotta remove the KLexus. I'll try it your way since I want to still keep them.
I don't think you did anything wrong the first time you removed the KLexus metal skin. They're metal - but they've thin - otherwise they would not look good as an overlay on the existing KIA badge. They're really not intended to be applied, removed and used again - but you could always try...

I know, old thread, but interested for those who installed the overlays (stickers) how they’re holding up? Knowing what you do now, would you still go for the overlay or for the actual emblem replacement.

Great question. I was wondering the same thing.

Mine are still on and looking great. Maybe a tad faded if I try looking real hard, but I don't regret it one bit.

Would love to see some pictures - also how long have you had them on your Telluride.

Thanks!

Anyone........Anyone.........Bueller?

Mine still look perfect and I got a set with the very first batch. However the car is garage kept and I work from home even pre-covid. Put 8500 miles on it in year 1 but it has seen plenty of snow, ice, dirt, pollen, and many car washes.

Excuse the dirt and bugs.

Tad late back to party, but here they are. First overlay batch last August, 15k miles, daily driver, and don't kill me...automatic carwash.

Haha, I mean is the car wash that bad?!? I don’t even have my Telluride yet but I plan on using a car wash here and there. I wish I had time to do it myself but it’s just not possible. That said, emblems still looking good!

Carwash better than no wash, but definitely not as good as touch less or handwash.
