• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Todays rant... Color choices, or lack of?

Sangria is available on most trim levels, just not on the SX according to KIA's website.
Where are you seeing any mention of Sangria Red on Kia's website? I just looked, and there's nothing there. Still just the Moss, White, Grays and Blacks. None of the Trim levels say anything about Sangria Red.

Now I see it. And you're correct, of course. The Sangria is not available on the SX, which is the trim I'm interested in. Thank you for your help. It seems that Black Copper is only offered for the SX. From the website, I really can't tell any difference between Black Copper and Ebony Black. I wonder why the Sangria Red isn't available on the SX. Oh well.

It is rather strange to have two nearly indistinguishable choices for exterior black while not offering red on the SX trim.

I like the color options but I don't love the color options. I do wish it was available in a dark blue color and a better red color for all trim levels. However, Kia is not the only brand that offers boring color choices.

Can someone give me their input on the dark moss colour? I ordered one in that colour and I’m second guessing myself. I think it looks awesome in the Kia promo videos, and in some pictures that people post. In other pictures I think it looks fugly as if it was brown. What’s everyone else think?

I went and saw it live before ordering one. In regular light, it looks dark green. In direct sunlight, it looks brown. In shade, it looks black... It's a very unique paint.

Same. I’ve never envisioned myself with a green car but I LOVED the photos of it online. I found a dealer near me that had one in stock. I went to look and it is beautiful. Very muted green that changes depending on the light. I was convinced it was the right choice... until I saw one in traffic. It is the best green I’ve ever seen on a car. It’s so good, in fact, that I convinced myself that I could drive a green car. But at the end of the day, it’s still green in my mind. It’s gorgeous and I know I’ll see them around town and think, “That is mean looking car,” but I can’t do it personally. I went with ebony black.

I love the whiteTelluride. I purchased a white SX and have received many compliments on it. The Telluride is such a great looking SUV; I don’t think you can go wrong with any color.

Felt the same way about my wife's orange 2019 Crosstrek. Had a difficult time accepting that we will soon own an orange car. Well, wifey gets what she wants and it has since really grown on me. I think she made a great decision!

I have a Dark Moss SXP on order and think it will compliment our Subie well! ;)

I personally would love to see that sweet light gray (almost matte) they put on the Stinger on a Telly. Not a big fan of sangria or the graphite grey..bland & uninspired looking to me, but what do I know. I think the other colors are clean and sharp..classy, mysterious and bada$$...good choices..all of the above benefit from the black rims...as soon as I saw the trims and learned that the SX is the only one with that setup, my mind was made up...and I wasn’t going to settle for a lower trim with aftermarket wheels & small screen without double moon roofs & 360 back up views :)~ haha

I do like the fact that there are multiple blacks..a neat way to have a black car that has its own identity and be somewhat unique. It was a good call if you ask me, but hey, others will surely think it’s redundant.

I put a short msg in their comment box last week about how it would be nice to have a metallic blue option on the Telluride like the "Gravity Blue" offered on the Cadenza. Someone actually did reply, nicely, saying that it isn't happening anytime soon.
LOL! I agree it’s a great color. Probably saving for when they drop a GT with the TT V6 from the Stinger if it ever happens.

Damn. I actually think the Telluride looks great in white. But hey, that's why we don't all drive the same vehicle. Here's hoping everyone's shows up quickly!

I think anything bright or pastel-ish would've looked like hell on the Telly. Someone with photoshop skills and some free time should work some magic

My first choice is always red or maroon. But the truth is, I don't really care. We bought an S, and the one we could find was Gravity Grey. I thought White was better than Black, and Grey was better than White, so I'm fine with it if I can't have red. I don't really care. My criteria for choosing a car was one my husband fits in (big, tall guy!), AWD and heated front seats. That's the whole list. So color really wasn't a deciding factor for me.

I’m with the OP - few color choices. It’s all of the same color pallet. The two ‘unique’ colors are dark moss and black copper. The rest are extremely common colors. I hope they expand the color pallet in the future

While I understand that colors are subjective and to each their own, I love the classic colors that endure time. Black, when cleaned, is the best color for a car imo. However, I love silver, because it always looks clean, even when it’s not. And I am one who always keeps a clean car. Silver is so easy to keep it looking clean and new. Just my two cents.
