Todays rant... Color choices, or lack of?

Is it just me or why are there so few color choices?

Lets see we have white, silver thats really blue then dark gray that also looks blue then 4 flavors of black. I have seen lots of colors come from Kia that would look nice on here instead of the various shades of black.

Agree. I was really surprised at the lack of choices outside the "basically shades of black" range :-(

Damn. I actually think the Telluride looks great in white. But hey, that's why we don't all drive the same vehicle. Here's hoping everyone's shows up quickly!

ceramic 150 i3-240. As dark as I could go in Georgia that was legal. I had clear put on my windshield. Coat was $600 Lifetime warranty from Autobahn.

i’ve actually never heard of this being done. Did you do this for a protective barrier? How did the windshield wipers react to it? Can you tell when looking through the windshield?

That shade of gray just looks like primer paint to me on a car that is still waiting to have its exterior paint applied!!

It’s actually on the inside of the car, all of the tint. Yes I had the windshield done to help keep the heat from building up and hopefully help the dashboard.

I’m with the OP - few color choices. It’s all of the same color pallet. The two ‘unique’ colors are dark moss and black copper. The rest are extremely common colors. I hope they expand the color pallet in the future

I hope they don't expand the color palette anytime soon. That way I won't be wanting to buy a new one.
I part of the reason I didn't buy one last year was because I was waiting to see if they would add any new colors for 2021. And they did... Another gray...

I said to the misses ‘watch, next year they’re going to have this beautiful red come out right after we buy this one’. We’re coming from a color called ‘Cajun red tintcoat’ and it’s a gorgeous red flake color. Nothing compares in the telly color pallet. The telly doesn’t even have blue. Even sticking with the dark shades that they have, they could have offered a navy like the post above or what Hyundai offers in the palisade.

I happen to agree. This seems like the new trend. I’ll admit, there are SOME vehicles that look good in the matte color. But for the most part, I find that it leaves me wanting. I like a paint color with metallic flake.
