Track my vehicle

@StephenCantrelle, hi are you able to check a vin for a Canadian vehicle and if so could you check (5xyp5dhc2mg160600), thanks so much.
 
@StephenCantrelle are you able to track VIN 5XYP5DHC3MG160931. It should be for TB initials. I was informed that my vehicle was being built and on the line as of 3 weeks ago and then given a deliver date by 22 Mar. It is a Wolf Gray Prestige with Nightfall, although the window sticker is a bit different then what I ordered specifically (just added floor mats). Hopefully the dealership is being transparent with me and I can be relieved my Telly is finally on its way. After all, its only been 4 months! Ha

@StephenCantrelle, Can you please track VIN 5XYP5DHC3MG160931? I see people putting initials as well, TB. Hopefully that is my vehicle. It is the only Wolf Gray Prestige with Nightfall allotted for my dealership in the past 3 weeks, which I was informed my Telluride was on the line finishing up, with a delivery date of 22 March. It would be nice if that were true and I could be relived that theres is an end date in sight. Thank you in advance.

@StephenCantrelle Are the VIN numbers of custom orders listed on the dealer’s Failcat page? I ordered a custom nightfall back in November and every VIN on my dealer’s Failcat page is also listed on his Kia website to sell. If any of the VINs were custom orders, I would assume they wouldn’t show up on his Kia website as “for sale.” I’m worried he hasn’t placed my order and is giving us the runaround. Already paid $500 non-refundable deposit. (His dealership is small - averaging 6 VINs listed per month ... Kia Fairfax VA if you’re wondering.) Thanks!

Not to hijack this, but what constitutes a "custom order" vs. ordering through the deal for the options you want?

I can answer this for you. All US VIN's should show up on Failcat. Failcat is a list of all Telluride's produced whether they were a special order or not. Most (if not all) dealer websites are populated automatically - i.e. incoming vehicles will show up automatically. Until the dealer sees it and changes the status, it will show up in inventory. Most of the time if you call a salesman, they will not even know it is showing up on their website. If you search the forum, you see what other dealers have provided for custom orders as proof to the buyer. Then you can ask your dealer for the same.

In my context I mean “custom order” as you described: ordering through the dealer for the options you want.
