I reached out to our sales guy for an update. Later he texts my husband saying our Telluride is expected to come in 8/27-8/30. No VIN and we see nothing on failcat. Instead, he provides my husband with an inventory number. Sup with that? For now we wait, but it's a bit odd to us.

The internal number gets converted to a VIN when it goes into "Paint In" status during production.. This is normal
