• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... USB Data Port suddenly slow to charge

For a long time, my data port was essentially acting as a fast charger and would get my phone charged up in no time, all while I'm taking advantage of the Android Auto on my screen.

After my most recent service check at the Kia dealership, I noticed that while my Android Auto functions fine, the charge is significantly slower. In fact, I'd be lucky to get 1% for every 15 min it's plugged in. I'd still like to be able to use my Android Auto and get a charge instead of plugging the cable into the neighboring USB to charge while utilizing bluetooth.

Has this happened to anyone? I know in other forum posts that folks mentioned the data port has slow output to begin with, but this hasn't happened to me until recently after 2 years of consistent charging. The only option that I'm thinking of now is to rock the Motorola M41 for wireless Android Auto while charging in the other port.

Thanks in advance!
