• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Hey,
I've been using a USB with ton of music I collected over the years (way before Spotify). The content is mostly a bunch of folders where each folder represents an album.
I created playlists that allows me to group music together but it seems like the audio system doesn't support playlists? Only albums/artists/folders.
This is the first time I see a car audio system that doesn't have playlist support.
I tried putting all the folders that belong to a playlist in a main folder but the system doesn't detect sub-folders (among other problems with that approach).

Am I missing something? Any recommendations?

The car's ability to play music from a USB stick is very poor. It's almost like they only cared about audio streamed from a phone.

Playing music in a car from a USB is going the same way as the tape cassette and CD players.

Unfortunately that is the only high fidelity option with the garbage sound of sirius/xm and a lack of support for Bluetooth Carplay or android auto. Kind of pathetic as a music lover.

I hope that isn't the case! I just upgraded from a 2004 with a single CD player. Having all those CDs on a USB instead of in the car is a huge upgrade for me!
