Does Telluride have their version of variable cylinder management to save fuel? If so, can it be permanently disabled/disabled each trip?
Sorry, I didnt make myself clear. I know about the start stop feature. I was asking about the feature that Honda, GM and others use that shuts down half the cylinders when reaching cruise speed. Honda calls it Variable Cylinder Management. GM calls theirs Active Fuel Management or some such. I’m hoping Kia uses no such system or that it can be disabled. It causes engine problems and saves very little fuel. There is an entire thread about this subject. It must be disabled per trip.

We almost had a disaster this past weekend. Had guest from out of town looking for a house. We were rushing from house to house as they were here for just 2 days. We pulled up to a house and parked in road in front of house. Lots of distractions going on. Hubby hit the button to open the back...tellurideforum.org
