We had a 2010 Kia Soul, (sold it after 8 trouble-free years) and now we have a 2018 Hyundai Kona turbo and a 2015 Santa Fe Sport turbo.
The older car we are considering to trade for a Telluride because moving to Arkansas from California I'd prefer someting bigger with all-wheel drive. We'll definitely keep the Kona, I love that one.
I'm a 72 year-old man, former Honda tech with 22 years in the trenches.
I really like Korean cars, as a former tech it seems to me they are trying very hard to do better while the Japanese are satisfied sitting on their former glory pot.
I would also consider the Palisade but I don't like the exterior much and really hate the shifter knob.
In Arkansas I plan to get a small boat, plus the snow there, so we really could use a bigger vehicle.
Gas mileage doesn't matter, the Kona is a lot of fun for running out and around with 30 mpg.
Currently we live in Paradise, CA, "that place on fire". Our home survived the flames, but we want to move before the next one.
