• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... When we were doing paper work for our telluride the salesman mentioned the radio unit is not included in the 5 year warranty but only has a 3 year warranty. Is that correct? I researched the telluride quite a bit before purchase and don't recall any mention of a separate shorter warranty on the radio? Just the 5 year bumper to bumper (which you'de think would include the radio:cautious: ) and the 10 year on the drivetrain.

If so, why would they do that?

Yes, it’s true. As to why they’d do it, probably because electronics have a higher rate of failure. I purchase the extended bumper to bumper, which covers everything for 10/100.

Would you mind giving us the cost to the extended 10/100 bumper to bumper? Trying to have an idea or something to compare if we decide to do add that.

There is a more lengthy discussion on additional warranty packages in the forums, Mine was $1800 but some folks got a similar package for $1400. . It is from third parties so prices vary and are generally negotiable. It is my understanding that all electrical systems are covered for only 3 years from KIA.
