I am going to apologize in advance if these are silly questions. (The Telluride is the first "new" vehicle I have purchased in a very long time). My Telluride has about 4,700 miles. I just received an e-mail from my salesperson stating that it has been 6 months from my purchase and I should have the car returned for a service check. (The diagnostics on my app state that the car is fine and I haven't had a single issue). I can afford the charges, but I feel that this is a waste of money. Thoughts? Also, I have friends that have a local family owned garage and I plan to use them for oil changes and non warranty work. (I like to support local businesses!) Does this impact the warranty in any way? I just feel like the dealership take every opportunity to get you there to spend more money. I also got a letter to extend my service warranty. If the Kia is very reliable, why would I event consider this? Thanks again for any advice!!!!
