SX-P, White/Dune Brown with tow package. Going to buy my own floor mats from Tux Mat (most likely).

$1360 Costco discount and 3 local dealers lost out.

I'm 2.5 hours from Muncie so an easy drive with either an Enterprise one way rental or my trade if I don't sell to Carmax.

Now the wait begins. So glad I discovered Kia of Muncie on this site.

I got mine from them, they gave me a very fair trade fr my Sorento. What part of Ohio you from? Cinci area here.

I am near Columbus. Enterprise one way rental is a dear friend of mine as I have bought several long distance cars. I once bought a 1985 Peugeot 505 Turbodiesel in Cinci in 1996.

It was advertised in the Citroen news letter. I talked to the guy on the phone and he was as big of a car nut as me.
Got an Enterprise car for under $30 and in those days, if you were in state, no one way drop off fee ($50 today)

It had 98,000 miles and I paid $800. I drove it 13,000 miles with ZERO repairs and sold it a year later in the Columbus paper for $1,000. The first guy who looked at it bought it and my phone rang for weeks after I sold it.

6 months before buying the Peugeot, I sold my Citroen Cx2500 Diesel 5 speed that was a delightful car that I bought in Lancaster, OH. I'll spare you the details.
Suffice it to say, I wish I still had it. About a year ago a guy from Vegas contacted me and he owns my old Citroen. He sent me pictures and it's still in mint condition and he's won several trophies.

I'm perhaps the only (US based) cat on this forum who has owned two French cars. Hope to own another someday.

Meanwhile, trying to learn as much about the KT before arrival (he's mentioning arrival and just ordered today-silly dude).

Does Tux Mat make a cargo mat with “seatback protection” (whatever that is)?

Not as far as I know but I have not looked on their website. As I understand the seat back protection, it's a permanent rubberized tread that goes on the seat back. My buddy has it on his Subaru.

If I haul, I find cardboard a wonderful protector that I can shape for any car.

We traveled to Florida a couple weeks ago and got the same (a little above 26) in comfort mode. We are happy with the MPG for such a big vehicle.

Haven’t completed the order yet due to the holidays, but in the process of ordering a SX-P in Moss/Gray with Tow, illuminated kick plates, roof rails, and bumper appliqué from Muncie for my wife. Been super impressed so far with the communication and fairness.

Sounds like the wait will be 4-6 months, which is fine with us. We actually are hopeful that it comes in around June, as we will be driving to Michigan for vacation and could easily swing to Muncie on the way up from Kansas City.
