  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I have two dealers (both within a two hour drive) who have agreed to order at MSRP. Is there any way of knowing which dealer would have the lesser wait?

Look in failcat and see their volume/delivery/allocations for last few months. Or, order from both and see who wins the race.

Also filter the specific trim that you want to see how many they get. Some dealers get a bunch but not many awd due to the local climate, etc....

Do they both offer a refundable deposit? Also, ask how many they have in line ahead of you.

Thanks for the good advice--I will look into all of it!

Also make sure to ask for "out the door" pricing from both, including not only sales price, but also any other fees as well as any extras that may they may require. Some dealers offer a particular price but require rustproofing or warranty or security package or (you name it).

I was under the same dilemma. But one dealer was being more honest with me and treating me like a person instead of feeding me a bunch of mumbo-jumbo sales crap. I gave the dealer that treated me like a person my business.
