• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I am replacing my 2010 Subaru Forester with 257k miles and on its second engine - although I love Subaru the deciding factor for me came down to the fact Subie engines sit on their side and the OEM head gaskets WILL fail at 85k-150k which is about a $3k repair at non-dealer to install non OEM head gaskets that will last a lot longer. At 128k mi I had engine issues and like a dumb bunny had dealership rebuild engine (of course they used OEM head gaskets) and here I am 129k mi later and have leaking head gaskets ...again.
