If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I’m new here. Seriously, why does there seem to be no supply for one of the highest rated midsized for the year. How does the Kia dealerships right outside the factory in Westpoint GA, not have inventory. Quick side note, would it be cheaper to buy a car from a dealership in proximity to where they were made- I feel like they would have hardly any fees. Quicker side note- I’m ready to trade and sale my two older Subaru’s for one of these, which is basically like selling my two ....

Sold Out. Hottest SUV on planet Earth. Most are sold before they arrive.

It’s not cheaper to buy from a dealer that is closer to the Georgia factory. Even if the dealer is a mile away, you’ll still pay the same destination charge as everybody else.

Don't do what I did...and wait to see if demand drops in hopes that you will find what you want at the local dealership. Especially if you want an SX-P - they are hard to find. I finally placed an order in January and now wait with the rest. If you are in the Dallas area or close - call @StephenCantrelle He helped me get my order in and placed at MSRP. I just hope I get it by early summer.

that is unbelievable! Are they even going to have a 2021 model?

Yes - if you order one today with the typical 4-6 month wait - you will most likely get a 2021 model.

They are sold out at every dealer... BUT.. i rarely see Tellurides on the road. In the last 5 months, i've seen about 10-12 Tellurides. But about 25-30 Palisade. Wonder why!

Seeing more and more Tellurides's here in North Texas, but have seen nary one Palisade.

Yes - I travel to Frisco (from San Antonio) for work every couple of months and it feels like there are Tellurides on every corner compared to only seeing a handful in San Antonio over the last six months. They are definitely more common up in the DFW area - especially SX models. I have only seen two SX models here in San Antonio. And the one that was parked wasn't a prestige model. When I finally get my SXP this summer - it will be a rare car here in San Antonio.

That will be very exciting. Look forward to seeing your post once you get it. I wonder if Kia will end up losing money from people who are in the market but don’t want to wait, and end up looking elsewhere- at Palisade or other similar midsized.. I’ll be begrudgingly waiting until supply increases. Hoping it will before year’s end.

They won't lose money. For every person that orders and doesn't end up wanting to wait 6 months...that dealer now has a car that can be sold within days of arriving at the dealership for some lucky person that stumbles across it and didn't have to go through the pain of ordering. They have more buyers than they do have vehicles to sell.

I was that lucky person. I just started looking at tellurides.. almost a week in... went to a dealership. they had an SX with the exact colors that i needed. Apparently someone ordered it, got tired of waiting 3-4 months and bought something else. And this baby just came off the truck as I got to the dealer. Lucky me.

If you cancel with us we cancel the order. We have to per KIA. Unless for some rare circumstance where it's already being built and or in transit. What we can't stand is someone placing a order, we tell them it's coming early and they then say that they don't want it. It's happened a few times. One person in particular orderd in January, KIA said expect it in March. We call this person in February and said it's coming. They then said....not fast enough. Not interested. Really? 75 day turn around or so. We can't win sometimes.

Correct. I should have clarified. If the car is built and someone cancels it becomes an unsold unit the dealer can sell. If not built yet - then someone else in the long line of folks waiting gets bumped up in line. I keep hoping that will happen to me!!

I *think* your delivery time is based on local demand the allocation of your dealer (more sales = larger allocation) I ordered Feb 22nd I have a delivery date of April 4th
