• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Wireless CarPlay Carlinkit 3.0 50% off

Just ordered! Thanks!

Hey Telluride community, for anyone interested in wireless CarPlay, there appears to be a flash sale for 50% off going on for the CarLinkit 3.0. I’ve been in the market but couldn’t justify paying full price. More details here
Thank you

Omg it feels like Christmas!! Couldn’t pass it up and ended up ordering one. This pretty much works to have phone on the screen correct? Play Netflix and use other apps on the Telluride Screen. Correct me if I am wrong. 😁👍

Not quite, it's not an exact screen mirror. You can access apps that are compatible with carplay like messages, music, maps.

This adapter simply allows CarPlay to connect without the need to plug the phone in

Thanks @slickzigtheruler!

I'm picking up my Telluride today, so this is a nice bonus!

Same brand?

Same brand?
same model number...not saying it won't work for you but neither of them worked for us on our 2022...just make sure you check out the return policy before you buy...tried updating the phone...tried updating the device software...didn't help...returned both of them...

No worries. I appreciate the feedback that’s usually the best knowing someone who has actually tried it before. Hopefully it was just an issue with the ones you received. If you don’t mind me asking what type of phone where you using? If it doesn’t work out I will gladly just return it.

Picked one up! Thanks for the heads ups. I have a 2021 and iPhone 12 Pro. Will report back if I have any issues!

Is this actually a deal? The link tells me its $320 CDN regular and $191 on sale. The Carplay 2 Air device is $150 regular price. Am i missing something?

I think it’s only on sale in the US. I had the same experience when clicking on the link from Canada.

my bad I didn't read everything. Still applies to Canada. I got it for $91 CDN. Still pretty good.

Has anyone ever received anything from "lightinthebox"? Doesn't sound like it's be easy to return to this site... but good luck.

she has a iphone xs max...the first one we received only had 1 usb-c port on it for the plug in wire...the second one we received had 1 usb-c port and a usb-a port on the other end...tried updating the firmware on each of the devices and tried updating her operating system on her phone as well...nothing helped

From reviews that i've looked up of that website, they have tons of them, and the are pretty good. I have seen reviews on returns saying people were refunded money and did not even have to send the item back. So not too bad. If anything its pretty cheap so not the end of the world lol.
