Just installed a wireless CarPlay box. Any suggestions for where to put the box? anyone run a USB cable somewhere else to stash it? Any other ideas? thanks.

Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. Under the storage lid right above the USB data port is the easiest option. Use velcro if you want to be able to easily remove.

Mine just sits on top of the lid when the lid is open, which is always open.

Like most of us, I mounted it to the underside of the lid. This is mine with a right angle USB connector and 6" cable. It does block the USB-C port, but I don't plan on using it as I have wireless charging..

UPDATE: Found another post that specified it must use the USB-A port.
Just got a Telluride, looking for an adapter. Does it matter which USB (A or C) that you plug the adapter into? If it's required to be in USB-A, then I don't think one of those "USB Stick" looking adapters would work, as it would block the wireless charging pad?

You are assuming the wireless charging pad even charges your phone without over heating it.
I just ended up getting a MagSafe vent mount charger to dock my iPhone to.
This one works well for us. It is finicky if you have two phones linked, so try to only have one.
