When I lived in Upstate New York, I used them along with the low beams when driving in heavy snowfall for greater visibility. Don't you get any snow up there in Canada?!?Can I jump on this thread to boost bdon's question and add my own....?
Can someone advise me about using fog lights? Maybe even you, bdon. I've had them for four months now on my Telly and have yet to use them because, well, it hasn't been foggy. I've never had fog lights before. Am I just supposed to turn them on any old time? Is it a cool factor thing? If it's not foggy, are they good for night time driving or bad for some reason or just for aesthetics or what? Are there laws about it?
I have questions!
Okay, but I can see the road perfectly well without them. It will be interesting to try them on the rare foggy day. They’re called fog lights because they sit lower than the headlights and can help light the road below fog. You can use them anytime to help light the road
Yes, we do! I didn't know they were snow lights as well. We haven't had much snow so far this year, and no fog. So yah. When I lived in Upstate New York, I used them along with the low beams when driving in heavy snowfall for greater visibility. Don't you get any snow up there in Canada?!?
I’m sure you can with LED headlights. I put LED’s in my S and wouldn’t use my fog lights if I had them.Okay, but I can see the road perfectly well without them. It will be interesting to try them on the rare foggy day.
More like Canada Geese where I live....They are helpful for lateral vision fieldsto pick up animals, small children or miniature insurrectionists who may cross your path........

When driving in dense fog, the light from regular headlights reflects off the water droplets back into your eyes, impairing rather than improving visibility. Fog lights are positioned low on the vehicle and have a wide beam angled toward the ground, which reduces glare and helps you see the road better. Whether you want to replace damaged original fog lights, upgrade them, or add this safety feature to your vehicle, we have what you need. We offer a wide range of styles, with parabolic reflectors or projector beams, and with illumination provided by Halogen bulbs, LED bulbs, or Xenon (HID) lights. more details on - Fog Lights | Custom & Factory, LED, HID, Halogen – CARiD.comCan I jump on this thread to boost bdon's question and add my own....?
