• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Does the Telluride have running boards or sidesteps for easy entry?

Noticed that Kia has taken Side Steps off the accessories listed on the Build site for the Telluride. However, was at dealership today and picked up the new Telluride Genuine Accessories brochure that they just got in which listed the side steps, but didn’t include a picture.
The side steps are still an option. Go trough the build process and look at the addon page.

I Just don't understand why kia can not hire someone that could fix their website.

Where is the add on page? When I build and get to options this is what I currently see - which previously showed side steps

Well they really pulled them this time. A few weeks ago, they where pulled then put back and I guess they are pulled again.

I saw a You Tube promotional video about a Telluride, and the one in this video that had running boads/side steps on them ... they were attractiv ... BUT, they had "TELLURIDE" in very large letters spaced apaert like the name is on the trunk ... that type of bold, extra brand advertising there was a big turn off for me ...Too big, too much!

Is there any option for a running board ?
I see there is $690 side steps accessory with no image for Telluride which says "Accentuating the style of your vehicle, these side steps add appeal and convenience. "
Any idea what this is ?

I saw a promotional video of the Telluride and the one in the video had running boards. They were attractive .. BUT, each one had very large, and spaced apart, capital letters "T E L L U R I D E" ... This is a big turn off for my tastes ... Too bold and too much uncalled for brand advertising!

I'd love to see a pic of the Telluride with dealer running boards. I also went through the build and didnt come up with any. My wife is 5ft and she's going to have a hard time getting into this. Any pics - much appreciated.

Contacted KIA customer assistance regarding availability- they stated that the part shows back logged until December- hopefully that will change!

I posted this in the other thread, but figured I'd post here too for those following this thread.

A local dealer provided me this printout of Port-Installed Options over the weekend. This printout indicates that the side steps will become available "Mid May."IMG_20190513_110646.jpg

Anybody consider a 3rd party running board yet?

There are no 3rd party running boards to consider... Only options are "universal" ones that require a lot of fab work to get them to fit.

Well that stinks. I wanted to make my Telluride have a slightly more masculine look.
